since i have no idea how to create a slide show within a posting (somebody please send me an easy tutorial) you are on your own to scroll down fast and watch the snow accumulate;
long after it should have been here, winter happened in less than 24 hours...
mind you this is not the Mother Nature of the Lake Michigan Shoreline's grandest feat and photos can never do her justice (especially when they are mine); but it is awesome work none the less...
Yes, winter has finally arrived! Henry's busy frolicking whilst I'm swearing over having to shovel. Like puppies being cute, it's a good thing snow looks pretty. Otherwise it would have no redeeming qualities.
ReplyDeleteMy wife's just back from a few days in Switzerland visiting the family. They had 4 metres of snow OVERNIGHT!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
Jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous. =p Thank you for sharing x
ReplyDeleteWow. Better without the sideshow I think. Lots of snow. England would collapse after but two flakes of this snow.
ReplyDeleteSlideshow not sideshow. Doh!
ReplyDeleteThank you. You know, some southern states would come to a standstill with a couple of flakes as well - and this doesn't begin to compare with the type of snow Alaska gets.
DeleteBeautiful. And I don't mind scrolling. Sometimes it's the only exercise I get. Hah! You have a new follower. I love to giggle a lot, too. :P
ReplyDeletehehehe! i understand that completely. my wrist and index finger are to die for. =P
DeleteGORGEOUS!!! I'm so jealous.
ReplyDeletethank you. =) oh, and you are more than welcome to drive up and take it home with you.
DeleteVery pretty pictures!
ReplyDeleteWe are a winter wonderland this week - a windy, snow like cornstarch, treacherous driving conditions winter wonderland, that is. It has been a bit of a shock to the system. the kids have been out of school since Monday afternoon. It is pretty and I'm not looking forward to the forecasted rain that's going to turn our two feet of snow into a soupy mess!
it is beautiful, but yes, it can become ugly very fast - especially where driving is concerned.
